SVAchange

In 2020, the cultural clubs at the School of Visual Arts came together to create the Multicultural Union: an intersectional anti-racism coalition meant to amplify and advocate for the concerns of SVA’s BI+POC students. SVAchange is an initiative organized by the Multicultural Student Union, and together wrote a list of demands for the College. As one of the writers, Kalani works to create institutional change for indigenous artists at SVA.
